About

Brianne is a former ANC Commissioner living in Meridian Hill.  She was first elected to represent ANC1B05 in 2006. During that time, she served as Secretary, Vice Chair, and as Chairperson of the Commission. In 2008 Brianne worked to hire the Commission’s first professional staff person and secured office space in the Reeves Center, which the ANC finally occupied in June 2010. As a Commissioner she collaborated with community leaders, MPD, city council, and DC Agencies to make improvements to our neighborhood.

She has a strong conviction to improve her surroundings wherever she lives, striving to always leave things better than she found them.

She holds an M.A. in Public Policy from American University and a B.A. in Political Science from Boston College.

She is an active member of her prayer community, DC Minyan, and is a board member of Jews United for Justice. Brianne resides on Belmont Street, NW, and has lived in Washington, DC since 2002. She is originally from Michigan. You can also find her writing at InterfaithFamily.com and Borderstan.
